Underwriting Specialist

The Underwriting Specialist will be responsible in servicing customers' daily identity verification submissions, focusing on the quality of the information provided.

Responsibilities:

• Review personal loan applications with precision in a high-volume environment.
• Review and verify information such as personal ID and possible alternative data to determine the credit worthiness of the applicant.
• Interact with customers over the phone to verify his/her identity and identify potential fraud activities.
• Support auto-underwriting system by identifying, classifying, labelling, and evaluating each application cases.
• Keeps issued equipment operational by following instructions and established procedures on its usage.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing and achieving the set target.
