Job Description
Position Summary: Part-time Nights
Is responsible for performing secretarial, receptionist and clerical duties on the nursing units, under the direction and supervision of the nurse in charge and/or the Assistant Director of Nursing.
Experience:
+ Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills required.
+ Experience working with IDX System, EPIC EHR, and Lab Computer Systems preferred.
+ Computer skills using Windows based programs and keyboarding skills required.
+ Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
+ Excellent time management skills. Excellent Customer Service Relations required.
+ Able to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively and consecutively.
Essential Functions:
+ Immediately greets all who approach the unit desk, receives visitors, customers, co ‐ workers in person or on the phone with courtesy using appropriate customer service etiquette.
