Your Opportunity:

The Red Deer Neurology Program is looking for casual Unit Clerks to cover shifts both within the acute care Neurology and Medicine unit (U33) and the ambulatory Electroneurophysiology (ENP) lab. Connect Care and hands on training would be provided for both areas. U33 is the Neurology and Medicine unit at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. We are an acute care inpatient unit that houses the Central Zone Neurologist and Red Deer Stroke Programs, functioning as the zone’s primary care centre for stroke and neurology patients. The unit uses Collaborative Care where teams of RNs, LPNs, and HCAs work together with Unit Clerks and a vast interdisciplinary team to allow staff to grow and support each other each and every day. The Electroneurophysiology Lab completes all electroencephalographs (EEGs), and electromyography (EMG) which are tests used to diagnose diseases, injuries, or problems with the brain or nerve conduction.
