Unit Head

UBL is looking for Unit Head - Overseas Finance for it's Qatar and Bahrain operations based out of Karachi, Pakistan. The incumbent will be responsible to assist Finance team in Qatar & Bahrain to operate the finance function of the Country and to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to the internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate and preparation of information requirements received from statutory auditor, tax consultant, regulator and group finance team.
Review / analysis monthly result and substantiate variances Vs Budget.
Assist in preparation of Periodic Returns, Central Bank Reports and other reports for government & regulatory agencies in compliance with applicable local Central Bank Regulations.
Expenses monitoring, identify and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in carrying out proof balancing of general ledgers as per frequency defined in respective SOPs.
