University Hospital Anesthesiologist Position

The University Hospital of Northern British Columbia is hiring a locum Anesthesiologist for a three-month role, providing anesthetic services across various surgical specialties.
As part of UHNBC's anesthesia department, you'll address critical anesthetic needs while working with a team of 11 professionals. This position is an exciting opportunity for both short-term and long-term locums. In addition to clinical practice, engage with medical education and simulation training to support both patients and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide anesthesia for diverse surgical specialties
• Manage a 1 in 8 on-call duty schedule
• Involve yourself in medical student education
• Utilize simulation facilities for team training
• Work collaboratively in an integrated healthcare setting
Requirements:
• Current CPSBC license and CMPA membership
• Eligible for FRCPC
• Availability for at least three months
