University Psychiatrist for Mental Health

Provide essential psychiatric care for University of British Columbia students as part of their Student Health Service team. Utilize telehealth and in-person visits to improve student mental health.
As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will tackle mental health challenges encountered by young adults in a university environment. This role emphasizes not only clinical excellence in treatment and assessment but also dedication to equity and inclusion. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will focus on effective care delivery and support UBC's mission of fostering student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Triage and manage psychiatry referrals and wait-lists
• Offer psychotherapy and crisis interventions
