In this role, you are responsible for the professional implementation and stable operation of a significant number of low to high range business-critical Unix servers. This includes the installation, engineering, and operation of systems using the latest technology, managing and optimizing their performance, handling large data volumes, guaranteeing high throughput into a SAN, ensuring service availability by configuring clusters in redundant locations, implementing procedures for monitoring, backup, and recovery, planning system capacity, providing project consulting for internal customers, sizing new server environments, and suggesting improvements.
