Unix-Linux Engineer

Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Unix-Linux Engineer with 2 years of experience, located in Petaling Jaya. The Unix-Linux Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux and Unix-based systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. Additional responsibilities include monitoring system operations, implementing infrastructure solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Responsibilities:
Oversee and support for servers operating across various platforms including Windows, Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Solaris.
Manage Logical Domains (LDOMs) and Zones.
Administer Solaris and AIX clustering.
Ensure operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, and AIX, along with their patches, are up to date.
