Unix Team Lead

About the Role
As an AIX/Solaris Administrator, you will be responsible for end-to-end administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IBM Power 8 / Power 9 systems running AIX OS. You will support multiple environments including PROD, DR, QA, and UAT, ensuring system stability and compliance with client standards.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support AIX OS on IBM Power 8 / Power 9 servers
Install, configure, and troubleshoot AIX servers in virtualized environments
Manage filesystems, physical and logical volumes, mirroring, and storage allocation
Perform server hardening based on client security requirements
Handle AIX server provisioning, decommissioning, and lifecycle activities
Monitor systems and automate routine jobs using shell scripting
Configure and support NIS, NFS, Apache web servers, CIFS/Samba, and NetBackup clients
Work on Incidents, Requests, and Changes via ServiceNow following ITIL processes
