Urban Designer

We’re working with a Local Council in the North of Melbourne to recruit an Urban Designer for a 1-month contract.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team to facilitate quality urban design led outcomes in the public and private realm that improve the functionality, liveability, sustainability and public contribution of places and spaces.

This is a great opportunity to shape community spaces and contribute to meaningful, people-focused design outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead or contribute to the design of streetscape upgrades, masterplans, and other public realm projects.
• Deliver the local activity centre renewal program, including the prioritization of design and delivery works to update local shopping strips.
• Manage the procurement of external design and civil engineering consultants required for various stages of assigned projects.
