Job Summary

The Medical Case Manager is responsible for coordinating patient care, reviewing and managing medical documentation, ensuring accurate medical coding, and supporting billing and insurance processes. This role works closely with clinical teams, medical billers, and clients to ensure compliance, proper reimbursement, and high standards of patient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and explain medical diagnoses and assign accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with medical coding guidelines.
• Interpret patient medical charts and identify documentation deficiencies.
• Audit clinical documentation and coded data to validate that documentation supports services rendered for reimbursement and reporting purposes.
