US Tax Accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant, US CMA, and/or Enrolled Agent
• Must have a valid PTIN (from IRS)
• At least 3 years of work experience as a US Tax Accountant in a US public accounting firm
• Strong working knowledge of S-Corp, partnership, and individual taxation
• Familiarity with trusts, estates, and nonprofit returns is highly valued
• Must have hands-on experience preparing New York State and city tax returns, including compliance with local filing requirements
• Proficiency with professional tax software (Drake, Lacerte, ProSeries, UltraTax, and/or CCH Axcess)
• Proficiency in Excel for managing and analyzing financial data
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tax filings and documentation
• Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
