Utilities Senior Engineer, Shift Lead

Role Overview

Lead a team of shift technicians (or boiler attendants) in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Steam boilers, Water chillers, Glycol chillers, Cooling towers, Softeners, Air handling units, Hot-water system, Compressed air system and Waste Treatment facility.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth and safe operations of the facility and including the steam system, softeners, air handling units, chillers, air compressors, WWTP and auxiliaries’ operations.
• In most facility, as the shift steam engineer is the most senior on site, he oversees fire alarms management, first cases, abnormal plant operation and reports directly to the First Grade Steam Engineer or the Head of SEM.
• Responsible for the operating status of plant by observing control system parameters, BMS, distributed control systems of the facility and including the steam system and auxiliaries’ operations
