Job Description

Summary NIST is seeking a Utility Systems Repairer Operator to operate, troubleshoot, and repair multiple large-scale, industrial utility systems simultaneously to maximize efficiency and prevent operational downtime. Responsibilities In this position, you will: Work a rotating shift schedule and perform maintenance activities as required. Operate and maintain central utility plant equipment with minimal supervision. Perform a variety of duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor to support continuous plant operations. Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain four high-pressure steam generators producing 44,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi. Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain two high-pressure steam generators producing 80,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi.
