Qualifications – Debt Collector

• Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in debt collection (required)
• Experience in Accounting, Billing, Customer Service, or Legal Clerk roles is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of collections processes, payment arrangements, and follow-ups
• Ability to negotiate payment plans while maintaining professionalism and empathy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident in handling difficult conversations and objections
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Capable of managing multiple accounts and meeting collection targets
• Familiar with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting
