Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Testing & Validation Engineer to join our Electrical Wiring Accessories (EWA) R&D team at the Havells Centre for Research & Innovation, Noida.
This role is integral to validating next‑generation switches, sockets, and connected home devices—ensuring every Havells product meets world‑class standards of safety, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Testing & Validation
Plan, execute and manage validation of electrical wiring accessories (Switches, Sockets, Smart Home Devices).
Conduct type, routine, endurance, thermal, mechanical & electrical performance tests as per IEC/IS/BS/EN standards.
Develop test protocols, fixtures, and setups for new product development (NPD).
Analyse test data and prepare detailed technical reports with design improvement recommendations.
2. Compliance & Standards
Ensure compliance with BIS, IEC, UL, CE, CB and other regulatory standards.
