Validation Technician-Powertrain and Fuel Economy

Position Overview

International Motors LLC is looking for a Validation Technician-Powertrain and Fuel Economy to join the Powertrain and Fuel Economy Validation team.
The group performs a wide variety of engineering validation tests to document a vehicle’s performance as related to fuel/energy economy, powertrain performance, calibration regressions, aerodynamic countdowns, and a wide variety of fuel system level testing for commercial trucks and/or busses.

Responsibilities


+ Install test instrumentation like data loggers, network cables, flowmeters, aero probes, thermocouples, pressure transducers, etc.

+ Create, edit, and close work orders to document vehicle preparation, test, and maintenance activities.

+ Maintain instrumentation inventory and check-in/out assets in online instrumentation database

+ Perform instrumentation shakedowns/functionality checks prior to tests
