Valve Technician

Unified Valve Group is currently looking for a mechanically inclined Valve Technician for our team in Grande Prairie. This is a great opportunity to work mainly in a shop with the possibility of on-site work. If you are a self-starter that enjoys keeping busy, being challenged, and having opportunity for growth, this may be the role for you! This position is for seasonal work.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in Pressure Relief Valves and Pressure Safety Valves as well as ideally have machining experience and pressurized equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Making repairs to valves
• Assembling and breaking down new or used equipment
• Inspecting, repairing and testing equipment
• Field service work as needed
• Tear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair, reassembly and testing
• Assembling, testing, and painting of new or used wellhead/tree sections
