Vascular Technologist

• The Vascular Technologist works in collaboration with the attending Vascular Surgeons while maintaining a high degree of responsibility and independence for individual studies. The Laboratory performs a full array of Non-Invasive Doppler and Duplex studies to evaluate the presence, location and physiological extent of the disease. The diagnostic studies performed by the successful candidate include:
• Lower extremity arterial assessment.
• Upper extremity arterial assessment including thoracic outlet.
• Raynauds cold testing for fingers and toes.
• Upper and lower extremity venous assessment.
• Limited abdominal duplex studies including EVARS and grafts.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS or CRVS) or Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program from an accredited ultrasound program recognized by Sonography Canada and vascular reg...
