VCH Pediatrician - Community Health Focus

Step into a vital role as a Pediatrician at Vancouver Coastal Health, focusing on eating disorders in adolescents. This part-time position supports community health through comprehensive care.
In this role, you will provide assessments, engage with community primary care, and participate in treatment planning for youth with eating disorders. You will collaborate with a diverse health team and support referrals to specialized programs. Your involvement in education and training for allied health staff will be a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed medical assessments for youth clients
• Ensure accurate documentation of follow-up notes
• Coordinate with primary care for shared treatment plans
• Attend client family meetings as necessary
• Participate in interdisciplinary health team training
Requirements:
• CMPA membership required
• Canadian Fellowship of Physicians (FRCPC) needed
• Eligibility for BC medical licensure
