Vessel Manager

Job Requirements

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned ships thereby taking necessary actions and decisions to maintain asset value of the ships, statutory compliance, budget management and timely technical assistance to ensure seamless flow of business operations
• Provide guidance and solutions on technical issues for optimal performance of ships thereby meeting the service requirements in a cost efficient manner
• Plan, coordinate and implement major repairs, dry-dockings and vessel retrofit upgrades
• Make accurate budgeting and managing ships within the approved budget
• Coordinate with procurement and contracts department to ensure timely supply of spare parts and consumables to ships
• Ensure ships are managed in compliance with all Flag state, Classification society and Port State requirements
