Veterans’ Community and Peer Worker (APS5) - QLD

About the role
We are seeking emotionally intelligent professionals at the APS5 level to be engaged as a Community and Peer Worker with our Commonwealth Government client. The successful candidate will provide services for personalised peer support to current and former Australian military personnel and their families who are/have experienced challenges or issues across their lifespan.
 
An initial 12-month labour hire contract is on offer, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. Multiple opportunities are available to candidates seeking full-time work and located in QLD: Cranbrook, Upper Mount Gravatt or Ipswich.

Please note: the successful candidate must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance. A Working with Children Clearance and completion of a pre-engagement check will also be required prior to commencing in the position.
