Veterinarian, DVM – Calgary, AB

Full‑time position in Calgary, AB. Compensation: $120,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload that includes general practice, urgent care, and emergency cases.
• Operate medical equipment and perform physical examinations, immunizations, and a range of surgeries.
• Collaborate with pet owners, staff, and the community to provide the best possible care.
• Co‑coach and mentor student veterinary professionals (seasonal).
• Work on multiple cases and appointments throughout the shift, primarily with dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited university with a full license to practice in Alberta.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and appointments during the shift.
• Strong interpersonal skills when working with colleagues, pet parents, and the community.
• Passion for coaching and mentoring veterinary students.
