Veterinarian / Wellington

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a NZ qualified Veterinarian to join our Animal Services team based in Wellington.

This is a permanent role working 16 or 32 hours per week (both options available) over a 4‑day working week. There is no on‑call element and all shifts are 8 am to 5 pm with 1 in 4 weekends.

In this role you will see the best and the worst. It is a rewarding, fulfilling and essential role, as well as demanding, heartbreaking and physical. You will work across surgery, hospital and foster animal consults and interact with multiple teams at the centre including the animal welfare inspectorate team and the animal adoptions team.
