Veterinary Clinical Pathology Resident

JOB DESCRIPTION

Following the outstanding success of our Veterinary Pathology Residency Program, IDEXX is thrilled to expand this highly regarded initiative and looking to hire multiple residents for our 2026 program. We are seeking motivated veterinarians who can report in English and ideally Japanese to undertake an intensive training program leading to specialist examination in clinical pathology.

The residencies will commence in July-August 2026 and be based in either Australia, New Zealand or Tokyo. Training under the alternate pathway of ACVP accreditation is undertaken over three to four years and will involve a mixture of case directed learning, supported study and laboratory duties. The trainee will have access to a network of talented pathologists across Japan, Australia & New Zealand and globally to provide depth and breadth of knowledge and extensive mentor support locally and remotely.
