Veterinary Technician or Assistant - Oncology

Position Overview:



We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Oncology Technician/Assistant to join our dedicated oncology team. In this role, you will work closely with our veterinary oncologists and medical staff to provide exceptional care to pets diagnosed with cancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare, a background in veterinary care, and an interest in oncology.



Key Responsibilities:
+ Patient Care: Assist in the care and monitoring of oncology patients, including those receiving chemotherapy, and other advanced treatments.
+ Treatment Administration: Administer chemotherapy drugs, supportive medications, and IV fluids under the supervision of the oncologist. Assist in preparing and ensuring the safe handling of cytotoxic medications.
+ Diagnostic Support: Collect diagnostic samples (blood, urine, biopsy, etc.) for testing and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays, CT scans, Ultr...
