Vice President, Business Management

A leading global wholesale bank with its Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore is hiring a Vice President, Business Management to support the Country Manager and senior leadership team in driving the effective governance, regulatory compliance and day-to-day management of the Singapore franchise.
This is a high-visibility role sitting at the intersection of business strategy, governance and risk, with regular engagement across APAC stakeholders and head office.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted partner to the Country Manager on branch governance, regulatory matters and strategic execution
Coordinate across the three lines of defence to ensure regulatory change, non-financial risk and control frameworks are embedded effectively
Oversee issue and incident management, ensuring timely remediation and escalation where required
Support internal and external audits, regulator interactions and responses to supervisory requests
