Vice President, IT Security Governance & Engineering

Job Purpose
Lead the Bank’s IT security governance and engineering functions to ensure robust cybersecurity practices, secure system design, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive the implementation of effective security controls and architecture to safeguard the Bank’s technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and architecture principles
Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., BNM RMiT, ISO 27001) and address audit requirements
Oversee secure system design by mandating security assessments and defining control requirements for applications and platforms
Provide expert guidance on secure configurations, encryption, and advanced security practices
Monitor emerging cyber threats and enhance security controls, tools, and frameworks to strengthen defense capabilities
