Vice President of Metallurgy

Aurex Group is conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of our client, a leading copper producer, for the role of Vice President of Metallurgy.

This is a senior executive leadership position with full strategic, technical and operational responsibility for all metallurgical functions across the organization, including heap leach operations, sulphuric acid leaching, SX/EW processing, copper cathode production, metallurgical laboratories, testwork programs and process optimization. The role will lead near‑term plant expansion projects, drive continuous improvement in recovery and cost performance, and provide critical metallurgical leadership for greenfield/brownfield growth opportunities and potential acquisitions.
