About the Role

RequestHire is hiring a creative and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to produce high-retention content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, hooks, and modern social media trends, and can convert raw footage into engaging short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit talking-head, podcast, and social media content into engaging short-form videos
• Add captions, animated text, motion graphics, and visual effects
• Apply jump cuts, zoom-ins, pacing adjustments, and dynamic framing
• Incorporate b-roll, sound effects, music, and relevant memes
• Maintain consistent brand style and platform-optimized layouts
• Export videos correctly for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
