Job Description
Experience the thrill of the 2026 wine harvest as a Vintage Cellar Hand at Andrew Peller Ltd. in Grimsby, Ontario. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity with extensive training available!
As a seasonal cellar hand, you'll work in shifts of 12 hours, rotating between days and nights from late August until mid-November at our winery. You'll engage in various crucial roles on the Crush Pad and in the Cellars, contributing to the winemaking process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage grape crushing and fermentation processes
• Operate various winemaking equipment under supervision
• Conduct lab analyses on fruit samples
• Ensure all equipment is sanitized and operational
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
• No experience required; eager learners encouraged
• Mechanical skills and a willingness to learn
