Medical Virtual Assistant – Prior Authorization Specialist (Remote)

We are looking for a Medical Virtual Assistant with strong Prior Authorization experience to support a US-based healthcare practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle prior authorizations for procedures, imaging, DME, and referrals
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
• Communicate with insurance companies, utilization management teams, and provider offices
• Submit and track authorization requests via payer portals, fax, and phone
• Follow up on pending, denied, and appealed authorizations
• Maintain accurate records in EHR/EMR systems
• Ensure full HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality
• Help minimize authorization delays and revenue leakage
