Virtual Machine Engineer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Virtual Machine Engineer** to join our team in **Virginia Beach, VA** . This position is **onsite.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Reports Directly to the Project Manager and supports execution in a matrix organization.
+ Designs, deploys, and configures VMware vSphere servers. Manages VCenter server, including resource allocation – troubleshoots and optimizes VM infrastructure performance.
+ Plans and executes ESXi upgrades, patches and security.
+ Diagnoses and resolves advanced technical issues with system configurations and connectivity.
+ Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, network, and other systems.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for VMware infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
