Virtual Respiratory Therapist

The Virtual Respiratory Therapist (RT) provides remote respiratory care services through telehealth platforms, supporting patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions. This role focuses on patient education, monitoring, care coordination, and clinical support under established protocols and provider oversight. The Virtual RT collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize respiratory outcomes while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a remote setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care & Patient Support

• Provide remote respiratory assessments via telehealth (video, phone, or messaging platforms)
• Monitor and interpret respiratory data (e.g., PAP compliance, pulse oximetry, ventilator or oxygen reports)
• Educate patients on:
• CPAP/BiPAP use and troubleshooting
• Oxygen therapy and equipment management
• Inhaler, nebulizer, and airway clearance techniques
