Visiting Specialist/Medical Director

Provide clinical governance and technical oversight for cord blood and tissue banking operations. Serve as the designated medical specialist supporting compliance under applicable healthcare licensing requirements (e.g., HSCA). Oversee the Quality Management Program and ensure risks impacting safety and quality are identified and addressed proactively. Review and approve donor eligibility assessments, processing records, testing documentation, and final inspection records. Ensure SOPs and operational processes remain compliant with MOH regulations and accreditation standards (AABB/FACT). Provide medical consultation and guidance to internal teams and, where necessary, clients. Review release data and transplant outcomes liaise with transplant physicians when required. Participate in audits, quality review sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Attend local and group medical/quality review meetings. Represent the company at professional or public events as required.
