Visual Effects Artist

What You Will Do

• Design & Create 2D Effects: Author high-quality 2D visual effects (including UI feedback, match-3 explosions, booster/power-up animations, screen transitions, and celebratory win-states) tailored for Western casual audiences
• Elevate Game Juice: Craft tactile, punchy, and highly rewarding feedback animations that make every swipe, tap, and combo feel incredibly satisfying
• Cocos Creator Integration: Implement, tune, and optimize 2D VFX assets directly within the Cocos Creator environment (particle systems, UI animations, etc.)
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with our local art and product teams, and collaborate seamlessly with our development team in Beijing to ensure smooth asset handoff and technical implementation
• Performance Optimization: Manage and optimize texture atlases, sprite sheets, and animations to minimize DrawCalls and ensure smooth performance across a wide range of mobile and web plat...
