Voice Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Designs and implements voice architecture.
• Manages daily operation of Cloud PABX and optimizes it.
• Registers any additional extension lines, attends and responds to tickets and monitors voice performance.
• Performs firmware upgrades, maintains up-to-date documentation of configuration and diagrams.
• Leads end to end voice projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Works directly with telcos, vendors and business stakeholders.
• Produces clear diagrams, standard operating procedure and HLD / LLD documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
• With minimum 3 years solid hands-on experience in voice/unified communications.
• Knowledge of VoIP fundamentals - SIP, RTP/RTCP, SDP, H.323 (legacy).
