Wesley is recognized for its long-term commitment to serving families and individuals in Brantford, Halton, and Hamilton, especially focusing on housing and support for newcomers. Our Board thrives on diverse perspectives, encouraging a culture of equity and inclusion. Candidates with experience in affordable housing policy or nonprofit governance are particularly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend 6 annual board meetings
• Read and prepare for committee meetings
• Participate in various Wesley events throughout the year
Requirements:
• Leadership experience within the nonprofit sector
• Active engagement in equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Openness to serve multiple terms of up to 6 years
