VP - Compliance Testing (AML)

A leading private bank in Singapore is seeking a Vice President, Compliance Testing (AML) to strengthen its second-line assurance function. This role sits within the Compliance Testing / Monitoring team and plays a critical part in assessing the effectiveness of the bank's AML framework across private banking and wealth management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute risk-based AML compliance testing reviews across private banking businesses, including KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
Assess the design and operating effectiveness of AML policies, procedures, and controls in line with MAS regulations, internal standards, and global best practices.
Identify control gaps, root causes, and emerging AML risks; document clear, well-supported findings and recommendations.
Prepare high-quality testing reports for senior management and governance committees.
