Purpose:

Athene signed the first reinsurance agreement in Japan in 2020. Over the past 5 years Athene has transacted 8 reinsurance deals across 7 cedents with 6 Flow and 2 Block transactions, totaling US$19 billion, with Japanese life insurers as cedants. Athene believes Japan to be a significantly strategic market and activated an insurance broker affiliate ARJS (Athene Re Japan Solutions) to let it support those Japanese cedants. ARJS is looking for an exceptional and driven individual to join our team based in Japan. This role is key in supporting our business growth. Accountabilities:

Help cedents select the most suitable reinsurance carrier to partner with in a reinsurance transaction

Provide advice to cedents on reinsurance proposals, which can include product innovation in (re)insurance.
