Job Description

Responsibilities
Planning
Plan for quality assurance activities with timelines and effort estimates. Manage resources to support testing demand.
Requirements gathering
To discuss and work with SA & Dev teams or SMBC to understand the testing requirements to determine the testing coverage and collect sample test data (if available).
Documentation
Review documentations created by QA team leader, Senior System Analyst or vendor to ensure quality.
Testing and tracking
Tracking testing activities against test plans and track defects (Log Defect with assigned Severity, Retest and Close Defect) discovered to resolution. Report statistics and statuses to PM.
People management
Provideguidance and mentorship to the team and ensure process and compliance is met.Provide direction, support and set performance goals to the team. Timely escalate issues to PM.
