Job Summary
Under general supervision, machine parts/stock on various Vertical Turret lathes. Loads parts/stock onto machine and ensures correct set‑up to run program and ensure safety. Monitors machines to ensure optimum performance, makes manual corrections as required to meet production times and ensure compliance to specifications. May alter speed and feed rates. Checks parts to verify specifications such as tolerance, dimensions, etc. are met. Safely unloads completed parts and prepares them for internal transport. Completes necessary paperwork for quality/traceability. May train others.
Shift
Swing shift starts at 4:30 p.m. and pays a 10% differential on all wages.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a CNC Vertical Lathe machinist with prior set‑up experience.
