Overview: The data entry employee is responsible for answering telephones, scheduling and calendaring inbound product, entering data into INTEGRATED SYSTEM, copying, mailing carrier documentation, filing, ordering and tracking warehouse office supplies, and monitoring warehouse leased business machines.He or she serves as the contact person for account managers and warehouse personnel.Specific Responsibilities and Duties:Telephones:- **Answers all phone calls to the shipping and receiving office.
**:- Fields questions and assists carriers with delivery information.
- **Fields questions and requests from account managers.
**:- Contacts manufacturers for packing lists as needed.
- **Notifies account managers if a delivery is late.
****Scheduling**:- Schedules all product deliveries to the warehouse.
- **Maintains an accurate, balanced and up to date inbound freight calendar.
