Warehouse and Logistics Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitors the status of the central warehouse, facilities, and equipment including site warehouses to make recommendations for improvement
Verifies report of Warehouse Supervisor on violations and non-compliance of suppliers and prepares monthly reports-corrective actions to be cascaded to the concerned procurement department.
Supports logistics team/customer service in negotiating with forwarders and soliciting quotations including follow-ups and providing the location status of the shipment
Assists logistics team in handling after-service issues (claims, complaints)
Prepares internal memo on warehouse guidelines and incident reports for submission to Logistics and Warehouse Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field; Graduates of Supply Chain Management are preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
