Warehouse and Logistics Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitors the status of the central warehouse, facilities, and equipment including site warehouses to make recommendations for improvement
• Verifies report of Warehouse Supervisor on violations and non-compliance of suppliers and prepares monthly reports-corrective actions to be cascaded to the concerned procurement department.
• Supports logistics team/customer service in negotiating with forwarders and soliciting quotations including follow-ups and providing the location status of the shipment
• Assists logistics team in handling after-service issues (claims, complaints)
• Prepares internal memo on warehouse guidelines and incident reports for submission to Logistics and Warehouse Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field; Graduates of Supply Chain Management are preferred.
