Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

This is an entry level role reporting to the warehouse supervisor and retail sales team

Responsibilities and duties:

• Assist in developing warehouse storage & layout plans, ensure efficient usage of storage space
• Maintain warehousing standards for quality management systems
• Handling of heavy goods with the use of electric pallet stacker, loading, unloading, picking, packing, checking, labelling, and sorting of goods
• Data entry for online stock tracking system, monitoring incoming and outgoing stocks
• Order processing, arrange pick up / delivery schedules with drivers & prepare delivery documents (packing list, delivery order)
• Control, update and maintain inventory records
• Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse
• Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Retail team.
