Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching cargo. The role requires accuracy, accountability, and familiarity with Singapore port and customs handling procedures.

This position is critical in ensuring timely delivery of marine spares and cargo to vessels, airports, and port terminals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Inspection

• Receive inbound cargo (air, sea, courier, and local deliveries)
• Verify quantity and condition against delivery orders / AWB / BL
• Report discrepancies or damages immediately
• Label and update inventory records accurately

2. Storage & Inventory Management

• Properly store goods according to cargo type (general cargo, bonded goods, marine spares)
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
