Core Operational Duties

1. Inventory Control (non-negotiable)

• Maintain accurate stock levels (ideally ≥98–99% accuracy)
• Run regular cycle counts and full stocktakes
• Manage min/max levels and reorder points
• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete PPE
• Prevent stock losses, damage, and shrinkage
• Ensure batch/lot traceability where required

2. Receiving & Put-Away

• Verify deliveries against purchase orders
• Inspect PPE quality and compliance on arrival
• Record GRVs correctly and timeously
• Ensure correct bin locations
• Quarantine non-conforming goods

3. Picking, Packing & Dispatch

• Ensure orders are picked accurately and on time
• Enforce FIFO/FEFO where applicable
• Verify correct sizes and specifications
• Manage urgent mine/site orders
• Coordinate transport and delivery scheduling
