Warehouse Officer-Inbound

Job description

· Ensures accurate, efficient, and timely receiving and put-away of goods as well as compression of stocks in accordance with the set guidelines.

· Ensures that the department meets cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Regularly analyzes data to assess team performance, addresses gaps and implements improvements in the overall Inbound operations.

· Communicates closely with relevant stakeholders (i.e. Import, Purchasing) to ensure smooth flow in the overall Inbound operations.

· Works closely with other warehouse sections in addressing concerns and issues that may impact the efficiency and targets of the whole Warehouse operations.

· Ensures that proper training is given to the Inbound team members and guides them in the performance of their duties. Reviews, evaluates, and appraises their performance and recommends commendation, developmental plan, promotion, disciplinary action or hiring of new personnel.
