Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist – Commissary is responsible for managing the flow of goods within a commissary warehouse, including receiving, storing, issuing, and distributing inventory such as food, supplies, and other goods. This role ensures products are accurately stocked, rotated, and issued in accordance with commissary policies and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect deliveries of food, supplies, and other commissary items.
• Ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items according to safety and inventory control guidelines.
• Pick, pack, and issue commissary orders for internal distribution or customer pickup.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records using commissary inventory systems.
• Rotate stock to minimize waste and spoilage; monitor expiration dates and product condition.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
